Collection: Cognac Candles

Cognac bottles are heavier and darker than most spirits glass, which is precisely what makes them worth saving. We take emptied bottles — among them a Cross of Lorraine design and an Urbn De Luxe — cut them down, smooth the rim and fill them, leaving the label and the deep amber tint exactly as they arrived.

Cognac drinkers tend to be particular, so a candle made from the bottle they already keep on the shelf tends to land better than a generic gift. Thicker glass holds heat longer than a thin bottle, so let it cool fully before moving it; the candle care guide explains the habit, and this covers why we reuse glass rather than buying new vessels.
